Thoughts for the Year

How time flies that it been a month into the year of 2010. We entered into the new year having the whole family falling sick one after another. But really thank GOD that Danielle didn't got sick during this period. As I looked back the Year 2009, indeed a challenging Year and fulfilling year for me and my wife. There so much of adjustment for us and even now we are still adjusting. Rather than seeing it negatively, I approaches it with positively as there so much fulfilling time when we go through those trying moment with Thanksgiving than residing to the fate. There a choices that we need to choose from - Laughs your way through those trying moment or put up sad face thinking that the whole world own you. I totally agreed it never be easy and I'll be lying if I say I go through those moment without any bruises. Danielle turning 2 yrs old

Image
Danielle has just turn two years old today on the 22nd of Jan and together with her older sister, Beth turning 6 years old. Both of them happen to be born on the same day but 4 years apart. We had a early celebration last Sunday, both our daughter's Beth and Danielle over at the East Coast Park and together with our friends and family members. We celebrated this day with Thankfulness in our hearts. We really appreciate all our friends and family members that present on that day to share together with us the joy of this celebration.

Finger Tasting

Recently, Danielle has been exploring her finger. This require her strength to lift up her hand and place her finger into her mouth. For her to carry out this task it require lot of coordination. Glad to see her reaches another milestone.

What I have learned about GRIEF

But after hearing her breathing sound through the monitor, I felt a sense of relief that she in good hand and go back to sleep. How silly I am. Everyday when I look at this little fighter , I Thanks GOD for walking together with us through this journey. I came across a blog that share on this topic of grief and it was written by an SMA mother, Monica English, who lost her daughter to SMA. What I Have Learned About Grief What I have learned about grief is that I knew nothing of grief before I was thrust into it. What I have learned about grief is that experiencing the loss of a child through other parents gave me no real insight into what I feel now. What I have learned of grief is that it is inconsistent - some moments/hours/days I am fine - really! But some moments/hours/days I feel as if someone is sitting in the middle of my chest m...
