Danielle enjoys the painting session. When she want to paint, she will voice out ' Color..'  also the color that she want to use. After finish painting the fish, she show a accomplishment look.

It started last December where Danielle's teacher teaches her the series of alphabet. It took many month to complete the series. There are day where Danielle just will not cooperate the lesson, but most lesson she able to sit through the 90min lesson. During lesson, Danielle doesn't want us as parent to observe her so she will show uncooperative. She is a  keen learner and anything that she enjoy she will keep quiet n follow through what the teacher teach. Things that danielle learned for the part few month

This year our country celebrate its 50th Independence Day. As it is 50th Birthday, there alot of celebration ongoing through out the year and Danielle also dress to this special occasion.

Over the last Sat 18 July2015 afternoon, our family were treated to a event over at the Royal Palm, the Flyer. We were treated to food buffet, balloon sculpture, magic show, massagers for all the Uncles and Aunties. Manicure session for all the mummies, aunties & also myself. Back in early month of April , we had a visitation by 4 students (Afiq, Crystal,  Yongan and Bryan) and their teacher, Ms Liu from the Bukit Batok Secondary School class 3n1. They came to know about Danielle' s Story through our CNY goodies sale published on the Straits Times Newspaper in Feb 2015. In a team of just 4 individuals, with guidance and encouragment from Principal Ms Chamb and form teachers Mr Pu and Ms Liu, they raised $1,500 for Danielle and raised awareness about Spinal Muscular Atrophy in Bukit Batok Secondary School. Wow! Personally, I felt $1,500 is an impressive sum coming from students! Despite their super busy schedule, the team of 4 did all planning and execution. They went to every classroom to gather donations for Danielle's cause. What touches us is their big heart and their effort in making time to understand Spinal Muscular Atrophy,  gathered donations and counted the dollars and coins for a good cause.   Another interesting lesson that taught Danielle about COW. Learning about what Cow do and what cow produce. Danielle enjoys the lesson and now looking forward for the next lesson. 

On the 23rd April 2015, Kaeyln 3 yrs old went home with the Lord. To my BFF Kaeyln ....every time we meet, even though we didn' t utter a word, we already understand each other like old friends.. I thank God we have many sweet moments together... We held hands together, watched shows together, fight virus bravely in the same ward, cared by the most caring Dr Chan and most lovable Dr Chong...  Thank you for being my friend. It is because of you,my mummy and daddy found support and comfort... When you see Jesus, please say HI for me. We will surely meet again in Heaven. And we will hold hands together, watch shows together and worship our Heavely Father together... Till we meet again, i will surely miss you.. Love you always, your BFF Danielle

A yearly sleep test to carry out to ensure Danielle's breathing pressure support is well supported. That took us to spend a day at the sleep test centre at the last week of March . A remark made by the Sleep Technician was that Danielle was the most cooperative kid. A compliment but how much that I wish she could be less cooperative and able to put up a resistant......

On the 13th March 2015, Thanks to Club Rainbow that both my wife, Rebekah and my helper brought Danielle to the River Safari.  Danielle had a fun time watching different type of fishes living in the Amazon River, Nile River. Expose herself to the open. A different experience she had with the last year December visit to the Sea Aquarium.    

Today lesson, Danielle's teacher guided her finger and drew to the letter A, B & C.

Danielle was able to use her mouth to blow the bubble. Something a great achievement for her and for us to witness it are a heart warming session. It just method of time with practise she will be able to prefect it. The other time, we uses other method to blow the bubble.

  We like take this opportunity say a Big 'Thank You' to All for the support given to us. With God's grace and love,   We encountered graciousness and generosity of people living in Singapore through their support in purchasing the CNY goodies, offering help, donations and ang baos.   We met customers whom we don't know became friends overnight. Michele, Olivia and Bernadette (who we never met b4) offered to help us in delivery (we are touched by their willingness to go through the hassle of making time to help in delivery) Many offered to help us bake when they know the goodies are out of stock Church friends (Pastor Suzanna, Tat Seng, Jack, Colin, Shawn, Lydia, Deborah, Jenny) helped us  deliver and distribute the goodies all over Singapore and RLC. Delivery is the toughest part and they sacrificed their weekends being our runner. A kind local businessman donated pineapple tarts ...

Our story of the fund raising was featured in the Sunday Times on 1st Feb 2015. As this is our first fund raise, we actually intended to keep it small. So our sharing of the fund raising were kept within friends and church friend. But little to do we know that it end up to a sister in Christ from another church whom her sister is a SPH journalist, the same journalist Eve Yap interviewed us and featured  our story 2 yrs ago.  Through this fund raising experience, we are so amazed by how God lead us and got us connected with people. Surely it wasn't by chance but by the His divine arrangement that brought us this far.

Today is day 38 that Danielle is not well. She caught 2 nasty bugs in Dec that keep all of us on our toes. She is much better now with loose secretion and she is on oxygen. Last week, her phlegm was yellowish and thick, tainted with blood that blocked up her trachy tube. If it not for the cough assist machine and Dr Choong / Nurse Serene from Starpals that came by to help us nurse her at home, Danielle most properly will be spending her Christmas and New Year in the ICU. It seem that every year end, many special needs children with weak immunity fall ill. For the past few years, it had been a routine for us to celebrate Christmas or New year in the Hospital with Danielle. It is a bonus to be able to spend time together at home. The thought of not needing to toggle time at work, home and hospital is a blessing. Praying that our precious princess wean off the...

Danielle with her new Bipap Machine As we look back the year 2014, we were filled with thanksgiving and gratitude. Though along the way there still a few challenge moment but we still want to  Thanks the Lord for His Faithfulness to answer our prayer and without fail to shadow us with His unconditional Love . Last year, we brought up a cause to purchase Danielle's Bipap machine. Many people came fro to contribute and we were able to raise fund to purchase the bipap machine. We are so touch for their love and generosity. Our heartfelt thanks to the donor, friend and individual that supported us.   With the new year, we will also have new journey to embark. Due to the increase demand care for Danielle and Beth's our elder daughter demanding school work. Not forgetting our helper showing sign of overload. We decided that one of us have to stay back to be around at home. We had done that two year ago with me staying behind but...

    Danielle touching the Starfish Early birthday celebration with Danielle and her elder Sister Beth Starting of the new year sat night, Thanks to RDSS for organised a trip to the Sea Aquarium where  just for the whole group of RDSS family and even spent the night there infront of the gallery ( facing the aquarium). Danielle didn't spent the night there as she was still recovering from her flu. There no usual crowd there so we can take our time viewing the marine life. This was Danielle second time there and she enjoyed watching the fishes. We also got a chance to has a early birthday celebration for both Danielle and her elder sister Beth right infront of the gallery. What a memorable time for both of them and a good start of the new year.
