Cruising Trip on the Royal Caribbean

Image
To end this year, we went with Club Rainbow and Rare Disorders Society S'pore for a 4 days 3 night Cruise Trip on the Royal Caribbean. We had a long list of packing items for Danielle that came up to 10 small & big luggage that require 2 car to fetch us to the Cruise center.  But all was worth it as this round. Danielle was much at ease as compare to last trip. We were able to enjoyed more with her present.  We almost couldn't made it to the trip as 2 days prior to the trip, her feeding tube balloon burst which require a urgent replacement at the hospital.  Precious Moment to watch both Danielle and Kaelyn ( 2 yrs old) enjoying each other company. The climax of the trip were the gathering of Christian special need parent came together for a time of Thanksgiving. During this session, we can felt our heaven father being please and seeing each parent present were a great encouragement for all of us .

It was made possible from the 'Make a Wish' Team in Singapore. Whom organise and prepare all the food, drink and the decoration. It actually a mini celebration for Danielle. We wish for 'Lifting Hoist' that able us to transfer her from one point to another without having to the hurt the caregiver back. It came to a point where Danielle is just to heavy for us to carry her. Also not hurting her while transferring. We invited friend that been journey with us to the party. With their support, the journey with Danielle came much lighter. Also it the first time we brought Danielle to the dining table. Previously we were not able to do so as the height of the bath chair wasn't high enough. I did some modification to the height of the bath chair. So now she able to join us for meal together. T...

Amelia is 6 year old, At the moment there no diagnosis why she couldn't sit up or not having any facial expression. Doctor see it as Neuro degeneration. Through this meet up, both family were able to share  information and encourage each other in our journey with our special need child. Amelia also has a elder sister and together with my elder daughter Beth, they were able to play together.  Such pleasant scene to see them playing together.
