My Princess Danielle

Just to update on Danielle hospitalisation. Thanks for your prayer and concern. Yesterday, late afternoon Danielle was discharge from the hospital. Now resting at home, with the Bipap machine and a new button. Through out this episode, we see God hand in every area. From the day, we decide to switch Danielle from Cpap to Bipap machine. As we know this switch will benefit Danielle, God started to arrangement all the resources to pour in. Starting from the idea brought up by Nate at SMAspace of using Bipap. Getting our respiratory doctor for approval, carry out the sleep test, changing the G botton as the previous one is leaking, hospitalisation, free from H1N1 flu, adapting to Bipap setting for Danielle and back home. It may sound as a whole journey very dramatic. But as we allow God handle the situation, it is just that smooth sailing. THANKS FOR JOURNEY WITH US.

Just as we thought everything is doing well for Danielle. She had a de-sat last saturday. A day before that we went back to hospital to had her sleep test result and change her button due to faulty botton. Who knows the saturday morning Danielle had a de-sat and we had to rush her to hospital. Quite a timing as we are in the transist from Cpap to Bipap machine for Danielle. Day two in hospital, she is free from the H1N1 flu. after the test report return. Danielle is slowing getting use to the Bipap machine. We're looking forward to tommorrow going home if Danielle is okay to go.

Today is Singapore Independent day. Celebrating its 44th Birthday. Danielle is having fun too.

Thanks for your prayer, everything goes well. We went in the sleep test room at 10pm and the sleep technician began their work on Danielle (wiring her up). With all this wire on the child, will the child ready fall alseep?? Anyway, by next day late morning we're out from the hospital and back home.

Thanks for your prayer. God open the door and mind of the doctor that seeing Danielle. They willing try out the new treatment protocol. Tommorrow 5pm, Danielle is going to KKH for a 'sleep test' till the next day. We are switching her to another respiratory machine (BIPAP) so the sleep test needs to be done. This test is rather important for Dan and us... now she is breathing through the old machine (CPAP) daily 24hours. We are praying this move will give her a better quality of life and she will only be dependent on the machine when she is sleeping. Medically, there is no proof that switching from CPAP to BIPAP will reduce the dependency. I believe switching machine is God's plan and He is going to do a miracle and make it possible for Dan not to be on 24/7 ventilator dependent. As any other toddler, Danielle eager to explore the world around her. Except that she is different from the rest of the normal toddler. She do not have the strength to move herself around. But that doesn't stop her from exploring. She begin to touch and feel the things around her whenever she have the chance. As a parent, we see her learning path and we try all way to allow her to explore the world around her.
